SNHCP Comprehensive Community Consultations and Safety Net Implementation (2019–2024): Strengthening Human Capital Protection, Household Resilience, Food Security, and Social Protection Systems in Awdal Region Through Multi-Quarter Cash Transfers, Inclusive Stakeholder Engagement, Capacity Building, and Strategic Partnerships with the World Bank, WFP, MESAF, and Local Communities for Sustainable Impact and Scalable Social Safety Net Development in Vulnerable Somali Households.“ SAYS implemented the SNHCP project in Lughaya and Zeila districts, providing 21 quarterly cash transfers to 15,647 vulnerable households, reaching over 93,882 individuals. Funded by the World Bank and implemented with WFP and MESAF, the program strengthened food security, household resilience, and established foundational social safety net systems.”
